I'm switching out builds now. Still have to setup Windows Update, Network, firewall, antivirus, gaming mouse and keyboard, Headset, etc. After that I will start posting some benchmarks and OC stats. I also plan to game AAPG on Saturday if all goes well. The first time in several months...

At least I switched out and now using my new build to ...make this post Love the new HD Audio Manger! Tweaked the "room size" for the 5.1 outside. Still have to install G930 drivers and tweak those. No more complaints from me about the DMR sounding like a trash can. The audio manager fixed that.

Ok... This is ridiculous... I only OC'ed the CPU to 4.4 so far. mem is at 1600. I loaded War Thunder just now and matched graphic settings from my old rig. The old rig with AMD X2 and GTX 750ti sc was getting a good 85-89 FPS at high settings. Here's the fun part... My new i7-4790k and GTX 960 SuperSC is getting 285-295 FPS. WOW! The other thing I noticed was how friggin fast the hanger and scoreboard loads after the round. And I thought it was just lag. I love this new build!! All I need to do for AA is install my G930 headset and drivers. Looking forward to seeing what this thing can do on a not-so-optimized game... old build Dec 2006 pic hostingnew build April 2015 uploading imagesguts... screen shot on pc

Nice!!! I am missing my old case only for the "bling" factor. Unfortunately, my cases fit in a desk slot so no one ever really sees them besides me anyway. The LED strips are a great idea for sneak peaks and swap outs. I might get me one. Do they have any programs like Fraps that can show CPU and /or GPU temps as an overlay? Back to an old question: The Maximus VII Hero has an on-board case speaker/beeper. So no need for this...
