"Play in editor" everything looks correct, fog is at the right level, emitters are showing. After publishing to Steam, fog layer looks messed up, and the emitters don't appear in the level. I even opened up the published map in the editor, and it looks fine, fog looks correct, and the emitters are there. Anyone else have anything like this happen in the past? Editor After Publishing

You did not created own emitters ? You could try to delete your config files. Start the game and editor again. Rebuild the level and see what happens Save your input config to save your control settings.

also video settings in editor can be set differently than you have in game... make sure you have shader set to high etc. I put in editor some smokes on map.. but I couldn't see it in game... and it was coz my video settings was lower in game than in editor ...

Will give it a try...although already tried verifying cache files. uni-sol wrote: C17 spawn! oh boy, i wish i could help, i want you to fix it! You've got enough on your hands, with the wifey selling your hard drive and all Uni! And since the cats out of the bag..... https://youtu.be/MoWUX3Bza6I

Nice work Hawk...Looks real good. What Kimchi^ said. Make sure lod's are set properly, you don't have setting turned off..etc. I had the same issue with custom emitter for csar.
If you're still having issues, hit me up and I'll see if i can help you.

Thanks guys, I managed to get everything fixed. The emitters not showing must have been an in-game setting. To be safe I backed up all my maps, uninstalled the game, deleted any leftover files/folders, then reinstalled. The height fog not showing up, was a little more complicated. After hours of searching different forums on "height fog problems", I finally found a fix. Basically, in certain situations the fog actor doesn't exactly know how to render. In my case the assault spawn point was way up in the C17, and the only thing between the player, and the fog, was the small looking landscape below. This showed gaps/voids between the landscape, and the skydome, which the height fog didn't like:) So I duplicated the skydome, flipped the new one 180 degrees, filling the gap/void space in.
