 Post subject: How to reduce time of loading?

How to reduce load times on user made maps? :roll: In oficials maps the time its over 40 secounds of loading time. Help me my time loads in my maps it s over 2 minutes 10 seconds.

its a server setting

find aagame.ini
my example is :

[AAGame.AAGameMultiplayerBase]
MinNetPlayers=2
NetWait=10
BeginningOfRoundDelay=8
SwapRoundDelay=10

I think that he means the maps on his PC.

Can't do much with UMM until the process is refined in a future update

some UMMs can take longer than that depending how many custom assets are used, also.. most of the time because it takes so long the game also throws 'loading timed out' at you too, meaning you gotta do it all over again and hope for the best next time :(

sometimes using the map prep tool in the launcher helps.. thats 'when' it wants to work.. but even after that they still take a while.

i hope this can be remedied somehow, soon.

yes that it !! Load time in umm. I can wath it to 3 or 4 videos in a 1 load of UMM.

The only thing I know of to reduce UMM loading times is up to the mapper.
The shaders are complied each startup of the map.
Every Custom Material will be recompiled before the map starts, the thing the Mapper of the map can do is to replace as many Materials with Material Instances, Material Instances don't require recompiling at map startup.

Delta keep dropping "when they fix the ...." hints so perhaps a fix is in the works, and the NDA keeps him from really talk about it.
