I had this idea for this map months ago but again ive never finished it as it takes way too long for too little gain to finish a complete map. My idea is a Data center / Office building. It would work because the sizing of the map could be similar to Inner hospital (obvious popular map in the game) and give players an alternative to their favourite map Inner. Built with corridors of a similar width it would be perfect for what current players seem to like. The map would make use of lots of existing assets in the game for an office environment like Computers, phones, doors, desks, ceiling textures, servers, plants, chairs, staff kitchen etc that are already made. 1 team starts outside and runs through the front door while the other team starts in a small parking garage below the building. 2 gametypes extract and C4. 1 Bomb on one of the servers and another on a van in the garage below. I only ever made a server room for it....  Reference pics of what i have in mind          Thats my pitch

i like the idea, lots of possibilities for a commercial/depot/warehouse/office connections too  for inspiration on possible layouts, i would also check out some floor plans from the real world, things like this..  using that as purely an example.. you dont gotta have 'all' the rooms accessible or anything, so you can generate add and tweak playspace as you go along. i hope you pick it back up

Data centers are some of the most secure buildings in the world. I wonder if there could be any mechanisms built into the map for unlocking routes. Or a VIP (insider) who can get past a biometric lock to get to a advantageous position. Or even scattered motion detectors/alarms, I understand all these things are bad for competition and very tough to balance, but interesting to think about. It might be cool if assault were dropped off on the roof to start the match. Data centers (think oracle) don't like to advertise their security measures so I'm having a tough time finding reference materials. Don't over complicate it; The best maps are usually the simplest maps. Layout or whitebox maps should be among the first steps, then add in the art.
A C4 map with two planting locations would be great.
