Basic questions about proper configuring of Objective properties ... as relate to game mode (i.e. TH, C4, AC ...)

Each of the properties below have a pop-up box in the editor that explains the basic use of that particular setting ... if the game mode is selected in the basic editor at map creation then all the correct settings for the Objectives in that mode should be set up and ready ...

I'm trying to learn more about the individual settings in order to learn new ways to combine different Objective types inside one map, something Wolverine explains in his tutorial ...

The exact relationship between the settings and the type of Objective are important to understand since the editor can't automatically set-up a mission with different optional objectives (i.e. single mission with objectives of ... C4 a bridge or Disable 2 computer servers)


If someone would create a tutorial or post the various setting combinations for different game modes that would be very helpful ...

The main Objective settings I would like to understand are these:

Permanent:
Team Specific:
Specified Team:

Objective Controlled by:
Additional Tickets:
Should disable when controlled by:

Again, the editor gives basic explanations but when I'm trying to set up different objectives a better understanding would be very helpful ...

I can paste in different Objective types from the Actor menu and tie them together in the Mission Editor but I learn nothing using that process ...

Anyone want to explain some stuff?

its all alien to me im afraid, has anyone noticed i have only done flag extract missions?

yup.. thats for simplicity purposes :lol:

Take a look at my Bridge 2 Far. It's set up for 2 objective game type.

cu=custom gametype.

Its on my list to do..A Multi functional obj Tutorial..
I know Wolvy has a great introduction into AAPG objs in the tutorial section..
