yes, and no, the render thread in the game hits the "roof" way to easy, but +90fps is hardly unplayable.

Its a bit hard to motivate 90fps as "slow" even tho its below expected at times.

all settings are set as override, noticed only lite better graphics and put it to game/driver optimization but will try the inspector thing.

Had an ATI card the last years and there you needed the radeonpro only in AA3, in AA:PG i had compared both (with / without radeopro and got the same results) so thought this would be the same with Nvidia cards.

Read this post by me on the second page in that thread. its not on unless you do it properly with nvidia inspector.

I used to OC quite a bit back when i had the 965be .. however I had a nice stable clock and just left it.. and forgot pretty much everything needed to OC.. so having problems remembering how to get a stable clock..

Ill hit you up for OC help :P .. I have the Thermalright Ultra-120 cooler so I should be ok to OC safely

That's a good cooler, with that super oc chip you will get 4.6 - 5ghz very easy.

I've noticed this engine favor's stronger cores vs multi-threaded. game mainly uses the first core. then offloads very little to the rest, @ 150 fps my cpu is 70% core 1, then 20-25% on the remaining 3 cores.

have tried the compatibility bits 0x00000045 for AA but same fps and same graphic behavior.

i have only a 22" so only 1680*1050 resolution.

should be 0x00000041, in AA you will notice a huge difference with proper AA enabled. not to mention the HALF in fps haha. @ 4XAA you will be lucky to maintain over 100 fps with a 760. even @ 1050.

Yeah, its UE3, it has two main threads, draw and game, so any +3 core cpu with high ipc is well off running any ue3 game.
(the engine came when single core cpus were dominant and muticore was somewhat rare)

So this isn't specific to AA:PG but rather a engine issue/limitation.
There are other UE3 games i play that has it lot worse than AA:PG at locations.
Low 50's isnt that impressive with a i7 2600k@4.3 and a gtx 780 ;)
(all load on one core, frames spend all time in the draw thread)

Even so.. I seen a decent increase in FPS from my 965be @4.1Ghz to the 8350@4.3 .. having a hard time believing the increase came from .2mhz

Whole new architecture not even a fair comparison, MHZ means nothing comparing different chips. the only time it matters is when you directly compare vs the exact same chip / architecture.

http://anandtech.com/bench/product/102?vs=697

Easy example of this. is the gtx titan runs at 837Mhz stock. but my sli gtx 460's ran at 880Mhz! and my sli gtx 560 ti's ran at 900 Mhz. titan is still 50% faster than two 460's and 30% faster than two 560ti's.

http://anandtech.com/bench/product/697?vs=836

your FX8350 8core @ 3.4Ghz (Turbo 4Ghz) vs i7 4770k 6core @ 3.5Ghz (Turbo 3.9Ghz)

I'm assuming that until Nvidia releases a proper profile for AA:PG it won't utilize SLI correctly?

With my setup there is a huge utilization variance between the three cards.

i would start with sli compatibility bits 0x02400005, this is for most ue3 games. i had SLI working 100% with my SLI 560 ti setup, trying to see if i posted about it. or remember what i used.

After that, try 0x02402005, then 0x03402005
