- Agree with EKCommander.

- Disagree with removing grenades. On the fence about cooking.

- I wish there was an option to disable auto call outs (specially grenades) but as there isn't one I guess that would fall in the feature request category.

There was already a long thread about it, but I think the consensus was that grenades either have to have a smaller kill/damage radius and do less damage or cooking needs to be disabled (maybe the fuse length would have to be shortened slightly). Otherwise they're too powerful.

I would rather see a smaller radius blast than no cooking but I can adapt to whatever, it has never been tested here in AA so its hard to say if its the right call or not

Mulgarus is on crack, everything he said I disagree.

Just look at ESL for settings.

Things you guys hsould include however are:

-Pause option in the beginning of round incase of a dead round. MUST LOCK PLAYERS TO THEIR SPAWN AREA.

-READY button or command

-Discard rounds

-Radar ON

-Better Spectator environment. Rigth now it's hell changing between players, can't follow nades, and changing between 3rd view and 1st view is complicated.

These are all settings already used in other games. Also if you could make that all these commands interact with chat would be better but not necessary.

ex:
!ready or .ready
!pause or .pause
!discard or .discard

I also disagree with no cooking grenades, that's dumb. Due to the small maps or even big maps aapg has, one we can't throw far and two if it's too close you got this 5 sec fuse. Nah, I rather cook it and do it's damn job. Maybe nurf it a bit because it is too damn powerful.

What is your intention when making these servers. Are you trying to bridge the gap between comp and pub so it's an easier transition for players?

Is this just going to be a single server running these settings for a trial period. Or are you looking for a more permanent place for people to play?

Can a map list be specific to these servers. Being able to play FLO/BDX while keeping the same player count. That would allow FLO maps to be played under the 6v6 scenario.


I guess what is your end goal for all of this

Don't ban weapons in the game mode. Just restrict them to maximum of 1. I don't see why shotgun needs to be banned, eK.

But most other things said were good.

-3 min rounds on all maps
-No enemy spots
-Player count on
-1 M24 available on all maps ( :) )
-Maybe have a little bit longer of time to defuse a bomb? I guess this is map dependent.
-Autobalance on in pubs, off in passworded servers.
-ROE doesn't kill you
-ForbidGrenade timers set to 0
-BeginningOfRoundDelay no more or less than 10-15 seconds
-RoundsToWin 8-9 rounds
-Allow bleed out
-0 Revives
-Players should not be allowed to view their body when they die. Only first person view of teammates.
-At this moment, Client Side Hit Detection seems to be the standard
