First of, AAPG has been moving quite quickly lately with CVARs becoming a thing to AAPG possibly going to CEVO competition. I have also been thinking about threads where players are complaining of optimization and not being able to fully run the game at acceptable frames.

Not only this, but some players know how to mod, versus players that don't. To be honest I am one of those htat have no idea what anything means. But players like noofy knows and have read the UT3 Engine "manual" However I want to make this easier on the players that are looking for a optimization fix. I believe This is the key without having to extensively optimize the entire game at this moment.


Below is a comparison of noofy's heavily tweaked ini to my default ini that I used. Along with it is the change in MEMORY usage. Check Second post for images. (WHIPLASH's)

So dev's what you think about an ULTRA LOW settings where it literally needs to look like noofy's settings. I got a 100% boost, imagine for those who get 30fps?

Is it harder to see through broken glass? I noticed the red fence covers a little more area with the tweaks. I wonder if that happens to things like the breaks in glass.

It has to be over 50+ lines. I woudl recommend using Diff checker to see the differences.


And jee, seeing THROUGH the glass of inner hospital is more tough since reflections look like solid white semi translucent strips

Again, this is a push for DEVS to allow a ULTRA LOW QUALITY mode. From what I can see this INI is within all legal limits and there are no gains from it besides FPS boost.

Nice config, but it is not still max cut. It's ~70% cut.

I don't understand the race to reach the 144 FPS. 60 FPS is enough, there is no difference when you have more.

In FPS case stability makes job, not the number.

Anyway, DEV Team have to realease a configuration tool.

Small note regarding aaengine.ini. One needs to match his own native (or supported resolution) in the ini's ResX= and ResY= fields. If this is not done the ini will be reset to default.

This ini tweak makes my fps go up by some 20-30% but the textures are very ugly(super low quality) and smoke and flashbang effects are messed up (smoke is pixaleted and flashbang after-effect, when one recoveres from flash effect, has some delay or something).
