So, I jumped on the editor and tried to recreate that aim map from the OP.



It has 3 lanes with different distances and some customizable options for target delay and number of targets.

What do you guys think?

That's an extremely solid start.

One common feature in these maps is a way to change your weapon, maybe that's something that could get copied over from the Giunta Range map? Another nice twist is requiring X hits to down a target instead of just one as a player-selected setting for spray control practice.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Giunta Range, the weapon switching is already working.
The hits to down setting is also in the works.

problem with shoot houses with targets is that they are predictable. We need something that can just show up at random spots. I am bout to download that CS map from workshop so I can make a video of me doing. CS can improve your AA reaction time and corner aiming. At least it has for me. nova 4 woot. Going for the AK after NX match tonight!

The aim map is live for testing here: Aim Training V1
It should go to the workshop shoothouses in the launcher.

Some new features were added since the first video:


Any suggestions/feedback is welcomed.

I might try to do the crack reaction stuff next, unfortunately there are no AI bots to use, so some trickery is necessary.

Great job so far. I'd recommend the following:

1. Ability to disable reloads, meaning you can shoot an unlimited amount without having to reload.
2. Target size selector, bigger/smaller circles.
3. Sign for each wall stating the distance you're shooting (estimate).
4. Add delay options between .05 and .1 as the difference between the two is night and day.
5. Place the weapons closer to the selector wall, no need to be running around
6. Extend number of hits option to 4, since it takes the m16/m4 4 shots to down an enemy.
7. Maybe make the wall a tad taller to give a larger shooting area.

I couldn't find an option to give players infinite ammo or disable reloads, if someone knows a way, let me know.
Everything else should be easy enough.
