Will the game support bigger maps both in dimensions and file size after full release?

Currently I'm pretty sure you can make a map big enough for your needs.....

There are presently issues with larger distances within maps. Smoke isn't visible past about 370m and gun sounds have problems at distances as well, making it tough to know someone is shooting unless they happen to send a bullet near you.

The cloud system only allows so much storage as well. File size will be limited 100mb per file in the steam workshop, per steam.

We've already broken the 100Mb barrier. Are they going to reduce it back down to 100?

It is 200MB not 100. I haven't seen any issue with smoke at a distance. There is some maps that takes 2+ minutes to run across none stop.

My apologies. I read an old article, but I knew there was a limit.

If you use the mission editor, the templates will not be any larger after release. However, we have made maps several km long with the UE3 editor before... You are limited by performance, so larger maps will need to be less populated with objects and your terrain will need to be less precise.
