I'm a new player here, although i briefly played AA2. Most of my time has been spent with Ranch, followed by Bridge. I prefer Ranch, but the Bridge is a good change of pace. So I'm looking for the next best map- in your opinion. I know some will say they are all good, and that may be true, but I was hoping a few of you would sell me on any one particular. Since it takes time to learn the map and how it's played. Thanks.

Well, you have said it! stronghold is my favorite too and I play it so much.. why? because of the reasons you have mentioned.

Impact ranks right up there with Dusk of AA2.. because CQC is the way to go, quick, full of action, many places to go and outsmart your opponent. unlike Bridge and Alley, where youre forced in only a few directions.

I do like stronghold.. but its a little slower game play than the two mentioned

IMHO, it takes a full server to be fun. I have gone an entire round and not seen a single NME.

I've had some pretty intense 4 v 4 matches when we were playtesting it before release. But I do see how if everyone is camping and skulking around it may seem a bit barren. But that goes for a lot of maps in any game.
