Shut it down like you did to AA 2, and AA 2 did not deserve that cause there was still a good playerbase

I am so sorry to hear that AA3 is dead. I still remember the days of AA2, which is probably one of the best games I've ever played. You had so much potential, but when AA3 got released every little bit of hope seemed lost.

I regret seeing that your new game, AA:PG is basically becoming a new COD generation.

R.I.P. AA2 and AA3.

There was a significant pause between x2 and badabing though. We shut down AA2 auth because we moved away from our existing provider for both AA2 and AA3 to Steam.

Since GBGangsta can not say it I will

There was a significant pause between x2 and the backstabbing to kill AA2.8.5 and make us save AA3.

All I can say is RIP AA2 and long live AA:PG,

The DEVs prayer

The DEVs are my shepherds, I shall not be in want.
They make me lie down in green pastures next to that rock in EandE,
They lead me beside quiet waters and up the bank behide the bush,
As I restore my concealment.
They guide me in paths of the Special Forces to make me a better player.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death or over the bridge in SE,
I will fear no frags, for my team mates are with me; your m14 and your 203s, as they comfort me.

You prepare a map before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with a helmet; my clips overflows with 7.62mm.

Surely goodness and love for frag rate will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the servers of America's Army: Proving Grounds forever.

obviously is dead.
was terminated with 3.3v patch, someone pulled the plug.
before that was moving in to a nice direction despite the initial issues (huge ones) and player base was increasing every day.
in fact before 3.3v patch had approximately the same ammount of players that AAPG have at this point, how ironic.

The steam numbers don't show that

Hmmmm. I went in the launcher and used my pen and paper to add players. It was comparable with the steam count. I think their billion dollar steam system seems to be working correctly. Where are you getting your stats? Can you provide a reference?

I don't know what the player count was before july2012. Where did you get those numbers?

I think the steam stat is a moving average over a window of time.

I too don't have a player count for before July 2012. Does anyone have a source for those stats?
