I think I have enough patience to survive it.

I say it should have "Drill Instructors" and "Drill Sergeants", in order to allow for Marines or Soldiers. And please allow MARPAT cammies.

if this were a Marine game, this would have been another version of Marine Doom.

I don't know much of Army-Marine/Army-Navy joint training courses, except maybe the drills. such a thing would be on a large scale. that is, unless the training is multiplayer (everyone gets marks), there's nothing interesting I can imagine is in the individual level.

that being said, joint training with other branches would go with other schools. I know there are some overseas militaries that also get their training in the U.S. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a mix of uniforms there.

Check out the AA Comics to see the story behind the enemy forces.

http://comics.americasarmy.com/

They are not a ragtag group of soldiers, but a trained military group.

speaking of missions...

sorry for throwing this out there, but I suddenly got a thought. I know it's been years since this has been a shooter, and lots of people in the past have only been dreaming this, but I'd still love to see this addition - why not add some air assault missions and other types of units in game? I don't expect it to be included right away, but this would at least make up for those missing "coming soon" tiers.

I'm this idea outside the box. instead of putting it in with the ground missions (because people wanna try to call for air support, but we know why a lot of times this doesn't happen), why not just add other aspects of the Army with different MOSs? like, one part of the game would be similar to Falcon 4, another deals with Armor, another aspect would be working at a field hospital.

this way, you don't just have a game for run/gun shooting, but you have players explore a variety of jobs. say, somebody wants to jump in a blackhawk or a jet in the morning and wants to do a few sorties and be back on base in time for lunch. or, maybe they like tanks, and want to jump in firing artillery. one might wanna try emergency surgery, doing things beyond the field medic's job. I don't expect that everyone has to try everything, and there are many games that actually do cater to these individual tastes, but I hardly see any that would include the bunch, particularly in an Army setting. I know similar programs have been developed in the past, which kind of helps to put that in there. it doesn't have to include national secrets or anything like that. just something that, as a recruiting tool, would help people explore their interests in different MOSs, besides the general fare.

besides, I got an itch to fly some real lawn darts, besides the P-51 I've been using the stick in my inverted flyovers on the Big Island in MS Flight. turns out that Red Tails is the only free bird one can get to do that, without losing the engine in the process, but alas, it lacks the instrument view.
