Just give me fluid movement in the characters ...and bullets that hit where they are supposed to hit and il like it
untill then im beasting russians on World of tanks :P

I'm not saying about initial rushers. The problem stays when game is already started.
In close combats u can sprint from a corner to another in a half of a second. I mean sure you can, but I would like you to do that in a real life situation. Rushing doesn't mean "who run first in the middle of the map", rushing is a totally different thing in my game play.
One of the reasons that AA2 players didn't like AA3 after playing for ages a slow motion game as AA2, was the running speed. Running speed is to high in AA3. Tell me a soldier with saw that rush like crazy in real life. yes rambo and chuck norris, do you know anyone else? :P
btw I don't care much about the running I like the way it is now, but I'm thinking about other players as well.

I'm not sure what the goals are for the new version, but I don't think it will be accepted well if it's slowed down. Some will adopt to it, but not happily. Their needs to be a pretty creative way of slowing down the opposition. Generally that should be teamwork, which works well in competition and appears to be one of the main purposes of this game. In a public match random teams of unknowns are thrown together and teamwork doesn't really exist, which makes rushing seem like more of a problem than it really is. A matchmaking/friends system could go a long way in more directly putting together teams that will work together by putting users who are associated with other people or friends of friends together in a sort of network of teams. Or if you have the gumption you can try and sway the community into working together. If you are successful then you might have something that many companies are looking to accomplish in building games and need to establish a consulting service for game companies. If you remove the ability to move freely at will then you might prevent something, but do you want that limitation imposed on you?

Quite honestly it doesn't matter to me, but that doesn't sway my opinion to agree to slowing the game down. I'll adapt and find new ways to be good enough to get under peoples skin no matter what you throw at me.

I never said to slow the game down. All I wrote was to slow the running down a bit.

My reference goes for running as well. My opinion is that if you slow running down, you slow the game down.
