Clans do not have access to beta information.

That's a pretty big stretch to make from coinciding IP addresses.

i am sorry once again.

this is no IP coincidence, this server is hosted on (-n00b-) clan dedicated server box.
easy to check and even if was not, i know it for some other reasons.

That's because the betas regularly do server tests and obviously whoever runs this server is a Beta.

But that does not extend to an entire clan. I know that people like to follow testing progress by tracking servers but please don't try to imply something that just isn't the case.

I would hate it if the beta team decided to block the trackers from seeing the test servers as I'm sure that would spoil the fun for others.

no, no, you got it wrong, im not implying anything.

i am just saying that a beta test server from next version is hosted in a private clan dedicated box.

btw, is not possible to block gaming servers from trackers, even more when they are steam servers.

:)

Really easy actually, simply ban subnets from firewall. Or to really make it difficult we could simply close query ports and only allow from specific IP Addresses. So yes it could very easily happen. ;)

But that wouldn't be fun.
