I used to play AA 2.x around 2006-2009, but when AA 3 was released my (then) computer wasn't good enough so I stopped playing. I guess I just forgot about it but the game randomly came to me earlier and so I had a search, but the forums don't make it sound too good?

Try it out, it still for free so there are no costs. If you don't like it, you can remove it again.

Just wait until AA4, unless you can't hold your AA addiction back because AA3.3 will likely taint your opinion of AA since it is still unpolished and was so bad that it was nearly unplayable for a very long time.

AA3 will taint you - as said above. I have lost my street cred lie'n time after time to the guys about the state of this game. They seem to catch on after a couple of times....

I doesn't hurt to try it and see if you like it, it is free. However my clan and I as well as many other aa2 clans do not like it. AA2.5 is up and running and aa4 will be out soon enough. If you like aa try aa2.5 assist. At least you can enjoy the game until AA4 comes out.

Yeah, download it and try it. I've played 2.3, 2.5, 2.8.1, 2.8.3, 2.8.5, 3, 3.0.3, 3.2 and 3.3 and 3x is the better version.

I say download it. You will have the chance to meet some people and improve your game before AA4 is released so once it is released you'll not have to go through the learning curve and trying to get to know everyone.
So come on. Another player is always welcome.
