I know this isnt strictly AA3 related but close enough...

Does anyone have experience of the AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD capture card?

Its typically used as a game capture card but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience of using it with an HDMI attached camera?

Thanks

Pat

From a game capture point of view they are great. They essentially enable you to take a stream from either a console/iPad or PC and then stream the game play live to somewhere like twitch or JustinTV. Works well for streaming AA3 live too by essentially passing through the video stream from the gfx card to the capture card then pushing it out over your internet connection.

Correct. You can do it one of 2 ways, either you can encode direct from the card thus offsetting the CPU load or you can run the capture card in a second PC.
