without going into a specific map and location, theres a difference between cover and concealment

Cover = "bulletproof"
Concealment = "out of view"

I suggest that you get a couple of players to join a empty server to shoot at you through the floor to find out, im not a pipeline fan so i aint got a clue but thats what i would do.

There are floors that can be fired through, the tower in stronghold is one example but that does have wooden flooring but bugs could also exist in other floors that would allow bullets to penetrate when they shouldent, this is AA3 after all!!

hahahaha, he just wants to know if that roof is bulletproof or not, simple enough.

yes you can (or at one time could) shoot through it and also be shot yourself through it from both above and below. what worries me more is that you can (or used to be able to) at certain points see the player aboves shadow through it from underneath, showing you exactly where to shoot, which i think is (was) a bug, since the roof is a solid, non transparent, full body weight-bearing floor/object, but hey ho.

its been a while since i played though, maybe its been fixed? hmmm

Lol, that exactly what i thought when i read franks post but resisted the urge to say something
Lets face it, when we ask a question its ether ignored or we get a useless answer, its the AA admit nothing, deny nothing wall of silence haunting us again and when we ask too many questions or say something negative the topic gets locked.

It never occurred to you that those that actually know(not guessing or making assumptions) cant really give you the straight answer due to NDA?

Its either to keep the reply withing the frame of the NDA or not at all.
But i have no problem not answering at all..

woah, something as trivial as shooting through a floor is covered by a 'dont tell anyone or else' rule?

i cannot believe your not allowed to tell us whats wrong with the game but you let us tell you with bug reports and feedback?

talk about all for one, and... all for one!

I've tried many times to shoot through those floors when I was on top or below. And every time I did, enemy stayed alive. BUT!...I get shot and incapacitated, (I hate this word) "killed" when NME shot me through those floors from below, when I was on top. That part is really confusing and tricky. Stay on those floors or move away? Maybe you can shoot and kill from below, but you can't shoot through it form top? No idea...
