With AA3 even with all settings on highest high (AA x32 included) GPU do not use, under any circunstance, more than 700 MB in a single monitor. The GPU is not the problem that affect AA3 with Windows 8.
Basically the issue relies on two paragraphs.
1. Windows 8 power saving features.
2. AA3 client side is basically 99% dependent from server side.
Also there are a few factors which may constrain the operation such as, board BIOS model or version, NIC card and of course CPU's.
Like i said previously, some systems are affected, some dont.
From my experience i can say that the CPU's who are running at higher clocks (the powerful ones) are more susceptible to the problem when do not even exceed 50% of usage with AA3, these CPU's become vulnerable to a increased intervention from energy power saving features that come with Windows 8.
But like i said all this is fixable. At least i found the cure for the cases that were under my eyes.
