Just letting you guys know that dont work properly.

It's like fps constantly droping from 250/200 to 25 all the time without apparent reason in random spots, causing a huge lag making the game unplayable. Even when we move, we do not move, we warp.

Tested all Windows 8 versions and is all the same.

Tried several drivers and is all the same.

With Windows 7 this situation does not occur, never had fps bellow 150 with it. It only can be Windows 8 incompatiblity with AA3.

Just giving heads up since most of ppl is upgrading to W8 and if they cant play AA3, less players are coming.

This game with 25 fps is unplayable.

i should have a beta icon or something, since i am one of a few that still worry about this game.

Well I play alright with no such problems 8-)

If I remember correctly you don't even play AA so I guess your world is problem free...

Bratwurste,
I'm curious, have you tried running aa3game.exe in compatibility mode for Windows 7? Be interesting if this did make a difference. Will you please try it and post back here?

I misunderstood this. I thought it was "DirectX 11 vs AA3". Ha ha...

I only have the Pink screenshot problem , I have played on TDO's server ( |The Drop Outs ) with Sgt Jack recently and experienced none of the other problems that Brat has mentioned . I went to the file locations in " c " for the the AA3 Game and the AA3 Loader exe's and ran both as Administrator then ran the Compatibilty settings check tool , I accepted the settings that windows suggested and the game runs absolutely fine now 8-)

EDIT : I didn't try to run the game in windows 7 or XP mode , I just ran the Automatic tool that is shown in the Compatibility tab 8-)

This issue that i have reported is not directly linked to AA3 or is a AA3 exclusive issue.

Is more like a Windows 8 issue related with DPC Latency.

DPC Latency Windows

You have there thousands of same reports about why Windows 8 is a lagware.
Now, i noticed it and it is like i said, some applications are more affected than others.

Those posts were about the pre release Beta versions of windows 8 , I have the release version purchased from MS and I run MOH Warfighter , MW3 , AA3 , Black Ops , Black Ops II and WoW without any problems at all 8-)
