How much are you willing to spend on a new PSU?

as less as possible to operate a Mainstream+ GPU. (HD6670, 6750, 6770, GTS450)

less than $88, cheaper is preferable while maintaining the "80 PLUS", at least 1 PCIe connector, 2 SATA connectors, ball bearings. (Optional: Modular cables)
it must be compatible with input of: 230VAC

do you recommend an online store ? (International shipping, Israel)
my local store is overpriced :x

I found this on eBay for $25 + International shipping, here it sells for $100
Corsair Builder Series CX V2 500-Watt 80 Plus Certified
it has 34A on a single 12V rail, it's NEW.

Just an update on my motherboard issue.

I called MSI, and was given an RMA (Shipping today, 1-2 week turn-around time). I took the Motherboard out of the PC... Major FireDamage to the backside of the motherboard, the Capacitor above the popped one was burned black and quite crispy (the outer case flakes off by touching it) 3 others were bulged badly. After looking at it, I honestly don't know how it was still running.

Wondering if it could have been a surge (I have a surge protector, its a cheap one... but better than plugged in straight to the wall) or if this is possibly a problem with my power supply?

Or do you think it was just a bad batch of Capacitors, and bad luck?

Any ideas/suggestions to prevent this in the future would be appreciated.

I've seen more MSI motherboards have bad caps than any other brand. It's odd for them to have such problems with mobos while their video cards are highly regarded. I even have one.

Best way to avoid it in the future: Buy another brand. Also try to avoid MATX motherboards. Their smaller size means more components packed into a smaller space which can compound heat related issues.

While I was attatched to the helpdesk for two months (don't laugh a squish you puny non-kiwi) the number of MSI boards that came back with raised caps on capacitors was incredible.
We were putting in replacement orders almost everyday >.>
