i had one bundled with mine, never plugged it on.. its up to you i guess. if you do, it should make a single bleep on successful boot, if theres ever any other issues, it will make different beeps to help identify the fault. it plugs on the speaker jumpers, usually next to you power switch jumpers etc.. the mobo i had before this one i have now, had one built in.. so when i first came across this seperate speaker 'thing' i wondered what in the heck it was at first

Yeah! Now we no more "ol School" I just have my mb set to beep on shutdown so I can walk off and know it's off.

I played through all the maps this weekend with my new build (12v12). All settings maxed out at 1920x1080 and was capped at 90 FPS. I went into the ini file and set my max fps to 120. (I can go even higher). Wow, what a difference to play this game with clarity and smoothness! I can load the graphics so fast now that I am the first to pick a side. Before, there was always 6-8 players ahead of me even with my FIOS internet.
Needless to say how happy I am with this build, and my expectations were met, and in some cases, exceeded. My i7 is oc'ed to 4.4, and MEM and GPU is default. After playing some of my favorite games, I see no need to do any more right now but just enjoy.
Se y'all in-game.

frankof,do you know anything about raid 0 with SSD-s?Will i see a big difference compared to one SSD,faster loading times or something spectacular?Or just higher numbers in benchmarks and nothing really in every day/ to day usage?

thanks, this is informative so unless you move around huge files non of the daily routine tasks will speed up,in fact they are marginaly slower on benchmarks.

You guys know of any CPU OSD that PunkBuster won't freak out about I can use to monitor temps?
For Sound, I have Sonic Radar (came with Asus MB package) but that might be considered an exploit??
