Interesting to see how the cone works now that the shots are more centered rather than outskirts of cone..

This correspond rather well with my own "measurement" of the cone in AA:PG and AA2, the size was about the same, but where AA2 would strive towards the center, AA:PG went for anything but the center.
circle with dot is somewhat close to the cone in size, +/- some for movement and posture penalties.

I don't see anything in there about a fix for footsteps on metal not being audible or sounding like grass/wood that got broken with RFI-4

10 minute ban for a votekick? Yeah, that's not going to be abused

It's entirely too easy to votekick players, this is going to cause issues for sure.

Those who abuse it will be dealt with appropriately.

i think its a good thing, 10 minutes is far better than instantly reconnecting to keep griefing over and over again.

i would hope people will start to better respect the system, now there is a better punishment and will actually think (and look at the reasons) before hitting that comma!

if i ever get kicked for nothing, i will just go to another server and hope for more 'mature' attitudes elsewhere

Ultra-sexy patch here, boys. Intercept has actually become one of my favorite maps. I didn't expect that, but it kinda started this last week, and now, I think I might even start playing it even more. The supported-position change is interesting. Funny thing is, I think some folks wanted it to changed because it allowed people to do the quick peek thing and get "cheap kills." But for me, using that fast duck/crouch thing during supported used to actually get me killed A LOT, hahaha. So I'm not mad at that change one bit. Nice job.

Dealt with like it's been dealt with since closed Beta? I have seen hundreds of bad votekicks on official servers, only because the vk system is too powerful. What would be the easiest fix and reduce the overall power, is if those that don't vote are counted as a no like in AA2.

I agree that the 10 min ban is a good idea, but only if it wasn't so easy of a system to abuse.

Honestly JaK at this point I would sooner deal with one person messing with the VK then one person emptying a server before I can get there because the honest players didn't have a good way to get rid of them themselves

This will be subject to refinement but it was my view from the experience I have had with the issue reported that this was worth trying

Was accidentally left out of the patch. We will put out a tiny client-side only patch later today to add this.

Should I even bother fixing my keybinds then. Will this small update reset my settings again anyhow?
